Nuberg to Neustadt

Thank you for the deluge of texts and phonecalls after the flooded Danube made it onto the bbc news. Despite your concerns we have not been washed away, infact our tent held up remarkably well and gets top marks. It must've been a slow news day as the flooding isn't as impressive as the high water marks from previous years that we've seen recorded on some of the houses. The biggest danger we faced was a cycling through a deeper than average puddle and getting our feet wet.

very reassuring, although we note that you seem to be well away from the river tonight, coincidental or prudent?

You leave Lancaster to find somewhere with more rain and worse flooding?!
