Peddaled fast with the American at our heels, as we didn't want to spend all day with him. He'd been asking where we were going the night before, and said he was thinking of heading into France but his plans were fluid. Had visions of being followed up the Rhine like when we were stalked from Utah to Colorado by Ashley, and lo and behold he rolled into Strasbourg campsite 2hours after us. Our mood wasn't helped by the hoards of shifty migrant workers that inhabited the campsite. We were surprised to find out they were Swiss when they started to pester us to use our mobile phone, and kept asking to borrow our bikes. Didn't think they had Chavs in Switzerland.
