Slept late to day recovering from yesterdays exsertions hoping for a day off. After a lazy morning and as check out approached we asked to stay another night only to be turned away. The temperature was now about 45 degrees and two major climbs were in the way of anywhere else to stay. We made the hard choise of taking the train over the mountains. The train was late so we cycled in the dark to the town we had planned where we found the hotel to be full. After asking in a bar and the local police we ended up finding somewhwere to stay a further 5km down the dark road.
