Left the comfort of our lakside rest stop and headed with trepidation into the heart of the Greek mountains. We yet again found ourselves on a road with no flat sections. As our map lacks contours and few spot heights we only knew that our destination lay 600m above our starting point. We dicovered on the way that we had two other major passes to cross inbetween. Each time we summited we were unable to fully enjoy the ride down the other side as we knew we would only have to crawl back up yet again. Todays road also gets the prize for least forward progress for distance ridden as it was twisty in the extreme. At times we must have ridden a kilometer to progress only a hundred meters forward. We ended the day at our highest overnight yet with the highest pass of our trip to come tommorrow.

What can one say except keep pedaling, me I'd get off and push always supposing I would be daft enough to try it in the first place. Thankyou MK for redways.
Such beautiful country - such torture to travel when on a bicycle - daddydoc might push his bike, but me, I'd catch the bus!!
