Corinthos to Kineta

Spent a couple of days camped at Corith next to an English cycle tourist who arrived after us on a recumbent tricycle having also cycled from home but via France and Itlay, a more direct route than ours. Crossed over the Corinth canal in the morning, with a brief stop to watch the boats passing beneath us. Stopped after a short day at the last campsite before Athens.

Headline......Newshound returns!!
Headline......Bemused customs officers quiz aged couple returning from sunshine holiday in Greece bearing not gifts, but instead carrying odd assortment of discarded items that they swear did not come from Greek Car Boot sale, but were the no longer required 'treasures' that once belonged to the so called Slow Travellers who now proceed onwards with panniers so 'light'...? that any properly muscled man (or woman) of steel would have absolutely no trouble in lifting ......
SadNews......depressed of MK to report to work in the morning

Realising that I have been very neglectful of blog-commenting (since day 1 in fact)have made a super-firm resolution, starting today, to leave a comment EVERY day from now on. Oops, that's going to be tricky as am off to Brazil & Peru tomorrow. Ah well, when I get back......
Hope the customs men at Heathrow are not hassling all tourists following newshound's curious luggage content, must have been more interesting for them than the usual packets of 'talc'.
Back to the packing (not to be confused with backpacking which is not in my vocab). Love from non-caming-non-backpacking-mum
