The terrain and conditions continued as they have done for the past few days. As we neared Corinth the Gulf started to close in with the north coast only a short distance away across the water. Yet again a campsite marked on the map was not to be found on the ground. We took this in our stride as we now expect this to happen and only believe in the mirages when we have booked in and put up the tent. The benign riding conditions meant the extra miles to the alternative campsite were covered without problem.
