Duplje to Bled

Lazy morning and a short day as we made our way to Lake Bled. A small but stunning alpine lake nestled under the Julian Alps. Even under heavy clouds in the pouring rain the turquoise water was clearly visible as we cyled around the lake to the campsite. Waiting for the storm to abate we were tempted by the smell eminating from the campsite restaurant and ate delicious trout with garlic, a welcome change from constant schnitzel.

Been looking at photos on google earth, wow it looks so beautiful. Hope the rain has abated so you can enjoy it. I suspect though that even Luke would need more than a pint of beer on a dare to enter the water. It looks COLD

Next country Croatia! Lamb on a spit and cevapcici (meat balls), pick you up on an island somewhere in the boat!
